Synopsis
The Universe surrounds us with signs everyday but do we really see them? For daydreamer Ellie Manor the signs, like a crying baby, are tired of being ignored and become extremely apparent – an electrifying experience with her hair dryer spawned the first sign. Where there’s water, there’s a sign. These water signs become guidance for her and her polar-opposite, best friends through the bumpy waters of single-dom, career goals, and the LA music scene as their playground.
Water Signs dives us directly into the eccentricities of the Los Angeles music scene. The three friends work in the music industry and they also happen to be water signs in the astrological calendar…
Ellie, an escapist Pisces and a song-writer who wants to sing but has a fear of performance. Cassandra, a mothering Cancer and a spunky choreographer with love on the mind. And Charlie, a spit-fire Scorpio and a no-nonsense music manager. Each has their own idea of the perfect goal…
Ellie wants to go on a perfect date in the oh-so emotionally unavailable Los Angeles. Cassandra wants to have a perfect family to bake muffins and justify her mom wardrobe. And Charlie wants to find the perfect 3-course lay with a cigarette for dessert.
The series combines the bizarre yet definitely unforgettable stories of single life with a new-age mantra of “What if there is something greater at play in our lives and we’re just too self-involved to see it?”
